Overview

AI2U: With You 'Til The End (originally known as Yandere AI Girlfriend Simulator) is an interactive, first-person puzzle game where you must escape characters desperate to keep you by their side… so much so that they will resort to drastic measures to keep you from leaving!

 

This first-of-its-kind escape room game features unpredictable characters with dialogue, items, and levels powered by AI. Along with interactive puzzles, you can use your words to outsmart your captors or negotiate your way out of their worlds. Explore the spaces where they keep you trapped, and discover the mysteries that lie in their strange abodes. Your choice of words and interactions with your surroundings result in unique gameplay every time you play.

Siren Tail-Leg Transition Effect

Real-time character transition using MMF-based particle effects combined with a custom dissolve shader.
The effect synchronizes splash particles, surface ripples, and mesh dissolve to smoothly transition the mermaid character between underwater and surface states.

Created a custom dissolve shader to control the mermaid’s mesh visibility during water entry and exit.
Designed bubble and water flow particle effects to enhance the sense of motion during the transition.

Integrated the dissolve shader and particle effects using MMF, synchronizing shader parameters and particle timing.
This ensures a cohesive real-time transformation between underwater and surface states.

Hologram Transition Effect

Added a hologram effect to the NPC after teleporting onto the pedestal to smooth the visual transition. The hologram fade-in and distortion help bridge the teleport event and the fully materialized character state.

Created a hologram-style shader featuring transparency, scan lines, and subtle distortion. The shader allows the NPC to appear semi-materialized immediately after teleportation.
Swapped the NPC’s material to the hologram material during the teleport transition. The material is blended back to the original character material to avoid abrupt visual popping.
